This page is short, because there is not much to say. We set no cookies of our own. What the site keeps is in your browser, it is there so a table is still there when you come back, and you can clear it whenever you like.

We set none

No cookie of ours is set on this site: not for advertising, not for tracking you between sites, not for anything else. With no ad network here, none is set on anybody else's behalf either.

Cookieless analytics

We use Umami to see roughly how many people visit and which pages they reach. It uses no cookies and collects no personal data, only anonymous, aggregate counts, and it is served from this site's own address with your cookies stripped from the request.

What your browser keeps, and why

Browser storage, not cookies. It stays on your device, it is never sent anywhere as a cookie would be, and none of it is used to follow you:

• a token for each table you opened or joined, so you can take your seat again after a refresh and so a game page can show you the tables you are still in,
• a random id for this browser, and the display name you last typed, so the other seats keep calling you the same thing,
• how many computer opponents you picked last time, at the tables that ask,
• what you last typed into the library search and where you had scrolled to, which the browser forgets when you close the tab.

The one thing from outside

Making a table runs a Cloudflare Turnstile check to keep bots out. It can store something in your browser to do that. It is not advertising and it does not follow you between sites. Nothing else on this site is embedded from anywhere else.

Advertising

None today, so no advertising cookies today either, and no social tracking pixels anywhere. If advertising arrives, this page will say what it sets before it goes live.

Clearing it

Clear this site's data in your browser and all of it goes, tokens and preferences together. You will lose your way back to any table you had open, which is the only thing that is stored to lose. A table on the server clears itself 48 hours after the last move, whatever your browser does.
