Knorri

You and two to five computers. Every card is seen on its way in, and the last with cards loses.

Hands
Diamonds are trumps. Clubs are hard.

A heart or spade is beaten by a higher card of its suit or by any diamond. A diamond is beaten by a higher diamond. A club is beaten by a higher club only.

Computer 2 turned the 10 of clubs and is picking the card it takes.

Computer 1 turned the 5 of hearts and took the 4 of hearts.

40 cards left to turn

What has happened
  1. You turned the 4 of hearts. It stays on the table.
  2. Computer 1 turned the 5 of hearts and took the 4 of hearts.

The computers keep track of every card, as the log above does for you: they read nothing else. Play it as a hand of Hörri, the last with cards loses.

How to play

You turn first, against two to five computers, chosen above the table and remembered on this device. Nine cards lie face up and the table turns the rest. When a turned card could take more than one card, it asks you: press the card you want it to take. Every other card is taken for you, and the log under the table says what happened.

When it is your turn to play, the cards you can play are marked, and pressing one plays it. Press a card that is not marked and it says which rule stops it. On the first play, the button under your hand adds a run of clubs above the two of clubs. To pick up instead of beating, press the pick-up button, which names the bottom card of the trick.

The computers keep track of every card from the log and read nothing else, and they play a little faster once you are out of the hand. Pick one, three or five hands, and press New game for a fresh deal. Diamonds are trumps and clubs are hard. The rules in full, and a hand played out.
