Beggar My Neighbour

Beggar My Neighbour for two, with somebody wherever they are.

How to play

This table needs both seats before the first card is dealt, so the host has one link to send. The host also picks how long a match is: one game, or the best of three.

Neither of you ever sees inside a stack. The board shows each stack as a back and a count, the pile face up in the middle, and what is owed in words and a number. The server does the shuffling and turns every card, so nobody can know what is coming.

On your turn, tap your stack. Every card is your own tap, or switch auto-play on and it turns your cards for you on a steady beat, payments included. It works while this page is open, and a reload or a reconnect turns it off. If the other person is away, the table waits for them, and the board says who it is waiting for.

The last card stays on the board with a line saying what it did, and the game before stays on screen into the next one. Chat is always on at the table, and voice only if the host switched it on when they made it.
