Minchiate
A four-handed game of Minchiate with people wherever they are.
How to play
This table needs all four seats before the first card is dealt, so the host has three links to send, one each. The host and the guest opposite are one side, the other two guests the other.
You sit at the bottom of the table and your partner sits across from you. The other three hands show as one face-down card and a number, because you can see how many cards they hold but not which ones. What the table has been shown, the last card of each hand and what was robbed, is listed under the table.
If you robbed cards you pick what to discard before the first lead. Counting cards and the 29 stay in your hand, and the table tells you how many each of you threw away, not which.
On your turn the cards you can play are lifted and outlined. A card the rules will not take is dimmed and says why when you tap it: follow cups, or the suit was trumped and you hold its King. The trick stays on the table long enough to see who took it.
When the last trick is in the hand is counted and the table shows where every point came from, the versicole, the Matto's card and the resti. Everybody presses Next deal and the deal moves one seat round. Chat is always on at the table, and voice only if the host switched it on when they made it.
