Noddy

Noddy for two, with somebody wherever they are.

How to play

This table needs both seats before the first card is dealt, so the host has one link to send. Nothing happens until the other person arrives.

Three cards each and a seventh turned face up between you. Their hand shows as backs and a number, because you can see how many cards they hold but not which ones. The rest of the pack is out of the hand and nobody sees it.

Both hands are counted with the starter before a card is played, and the table lists what each hand was worth and who took it. The player who did not deal counts first, which matters when somebody is close to 31.

On your turn the cards you can play are the bright ones. A card that would take the count past 31 stays dim and says what it would make. Land on 31 exactly and you take two and the count ends.

If nothing you hold fits, press Say go: your opponent takes a point and the count is over. Unplayed cards go aside, both hands are turned over, and either of you can ask for the next deal. The deal crosses the table each hand and the first to 31 points wins. Chat is always on at the table, and voice only if the host switched it on when they made it.
