How to play
This table needs both seats before the first card is dealt, so the host has one link to send. The host also picks how long a match is: first to 1, 3 or 5 deals won.
One of you guesses the trump colour before anything is dealt, and the guess passes to the other seat after every deal. Your hand shows in full. Theirs shows as backs and a number, because you may know how many cards they hold but not which ones. The pile has no number, and the cards set aside stay face down.
On your turn the board says what you may do. When you attack, choose one card, three with a pair, or five with two pairs, and press Lay them down. When you defend, pick an attack card and a card that beats it, or pick everything up. A card that beats nothing is dimmed and a line says why.
The last battle stays on the board until the next attack: what was laid, what beat what, and how many cards were picked up. After a deal the cards left are turned over and either of you can ask for the next one. Chat is always on at the table, and voice only if the host switched it on when they made it.
