Ristikontra
A four-handed game of Ristikontra with people wherever they are.
How to play
This table needs all four seats before the first card is dealt, so the host has three links to send, one each. Partners sit opposite: the host and guest 2 are one side, guests 1 and 3 the other.
You sit at the bottom of the table and your partner sits across from you. The other three hands show as one face-down card and a number, because you can see how many cards they hold but not which ones. The stock and the two piles are counts too.
On your turn, play a card and you draw the top of the stock straight away, or press Play in the dark to turn the top card of the stock up and play that instead. The last card of the rank that was led takes the trick, and whoever takes it leads next.
One rule can dim a card: a rank that was led three tricks running cannot be led a fourth time. The table names the barred rank and says why. A card the rules will not take says so instead of moving, and the trick just taken stays on the table until the next lead.
After the thirteenth trick the table counts each side's pile and shows how many aces, tens, kings, queens and jacks each held. Everybody presses Next deal and the next deal is dealt one seat further round. Chat is always on at the table, and voice only if the host switched it on when they made it.
